Brookside residence

The owners of this 1920’s era Brookside home approached MSA with the challenge of creating a modern, family-friendly environment to replace a poorly constructed and inefficient kitchen, powder room and deck.  The L-shaped kitchen is anchored by a bank of tall, gray storage cabinets that accommodate a refrigerator and recessed coffee bar. The remaining kitchen cabinets are made from quarter-sawn walnut with extruded aluminum pulls. A band of bright tile meets a horizontal row of windows, overlooking the new deck and Brookside Park.
