Garrison Residence

The renovation of the Garrison Residence involved an extensive rethinking of the interior living areas of a single story, 1950's era ranch house located in Prairie Village, Kansas.  The original configuration allowed for the removal of walls and vaulting of ceilings to create an open, light filled living space.  The main living space revolves around a central masonry core that contains back-to-back of fireplaces clad in a warm gray slate.  European steamed beech casework defines interior spaces throughout.
